We hope to Level Up the overall Summit Experience!

The Summit has moved to a new registration platform and app with exciting features and new offers during registration. These updates are designed to take the Summit experience to the next level. Before registering, please review the important details below.

  • Unique email addresses are required for each participant. This will link sessions / competitions to each individual.
  • Pre-order meals: pre-order breakfast, a box lunch to go, or team dinner.
  • Athlete Organization Name: Only enter the school name if the athlete is authorized to compete for the school – otherwise enter the club/gym or unattached.
  • High School Athletes: Register early. Space is limited and subject to selling out.
  • College vs Open: College athletes who are not competing for their school should select the Open Athlete Type.
  • Competing Coaches: Register using the Athlete Registration.
  • Check-in and Credential Printing: Check-in and print credentials at any kiosk on site.
  • Pole Rental/Check-out: We do have a small selection of poles that  can be checked-out during activities and competition. Limit one pole at a time. The PVR app is required.

Complete details below.

The new registration platform and app allow for a more streamlined registration process, direct distribution of changes and information, individualized schedules and more. Changes, updates, and Add-ons can be done directly through the online portal.

Unique email addresses are required for each participant. The event Platform and App will use this unique email address to build the personalized activity / lecture session(s) and competition scheduling for each attendee. Personalized schedules will begin populating the week before the Summit.

Pre-Ordered Meals: We know that the Summit schedule is packed and the hotel restaurants get crowded - especially during the Summit. We hope these offerings will help manage that bottle-neck.

  • Team Dinner Thursday - Pre-Buy a table for your whole group! We know making dinner reservations for large groups is tough. So, we will be using one of the large ballrooms to host a catered dinner buffet for those large groups. It will be priced by table – a table seats 10.
  • Friday Breakfast Ticket – The Starbucks line is nuts and online/app orders take FOREVER too! Instead of waiting, pre-buy a breakfast ticket. We will have a cash pay grab and go breakfast cart near the Summit check-in area with a selection of breakfast burrito / sandwich / muffins / yogurt / fruit and, of course, COFFEE, tea and juice. Buy on site or Pre-purchase a breakfast ticket which would be valued for the cost of your choice Burrito, Sandwich or Yogurt & Fruit and a Coffee, Tea or Juice.
  • Friday Box Lunch to go – Pre-order a box lunch to grab and go! We will have these available to pick up in the Grand Salon after the Opening Session. Box lunches will include a choice of sandwich or wrap, chips, a cookie and water.

Athlete Organization Name: Schools (Middle/High School &Colleges), state athletics association / federation and National bodies have rules and restrictions regarding competition status as it relates to athletes representing their school. Please understand the specific compliance rules surrounding your school situation when selecting the Organization Name on your registration form. We will NOT be posting Organization Names on the results, but it is up to you to understand and follow the appropriate rules.

High School Athletes: Register early. We wish we could accept everyone who wants to come to the Summit but space and time is limited and subject to selling out.

  • We do our best to keep the numbers of athletes in each Learning from the Stars and Learn by Doing Sessions to numbers that will offer a quality experience. Middle / High School Athletes are divided into groups based on verified PR and gender. Middle Schoolers will merge into the High School A, High School B or Beginner groups based on PR and gender.
    • High School Girls A / High School Boys A
      • Middle/High School Athletes with PR’s in the top two thirds will be placed in High School Group A group by gender.
    • High School Girls B / High School Boys B
      • Middle/High School Athletes with PR’s in the lower third will be placed in High School Group B group by gender. In addition to Vaulting w/ the Stars and Learn by Doing Sessions on the Pits at the Arena, High School Girls and Boys group B will benefit from supplemental Hotel Learn by Doing Sessions.
    • Beginners
      • The Beginning! Athletes who have never vaulted before or  with a PR 6’ or less should register as Beginners. These athletes go through their own program in a smaller group which offers more tailored instruction to each individual athlete’s specific needs.

College vs Open: For the same reasons that the Athlete Organization is important, College athletes who are not competing for their school at the Summit should select the Open Athlete type so that they will be placed in Open divisions. We will NOT be posting Organization Names on the results, but it is up to you to understand and follow the appropriate rules.

Competing Coaches: To streamline registration, please register with the Athlete registration type. You will still have access to the Coaches Lecture Sessions and Breakouts.

Check-in and Credential Printing: When onsite, scan the QR Code found in the online profile, App or confirmation email to check-in and print credentials at any kiosk. Please login online or on the App to verify registration details and make changes before the Summit. Changes can be made up to two weeks prior to the Summit.

Pole Check-Out and Rental: We offer some poles to check-out / rent to supplement the poles you bring. We are delighted to partner with PVR again to help streamline the process. If you do not already have the App, please download it below. Pole selection is limited and check-out rental is limited to 1 pole at a time. There will be a small fee to check-out poles, which will cover in/out access. There is simply no way that we can accommodate poles all the vaulters traveling to the Pole Vault Summit - we strongly encourage you to bring your own poles and use this service to supplement. The PVR App will make this process fast and easy

NCAA Compliance: We are still working on all of the details, but we have partnered with the University of Nevada Reno to collaborate in conjunction with the Nevada Invitational track meet. For qualifying marks, NCAA competitors can compete at the Nevada meet and still gain access to the Pole Vault Summit programing.
